Frequently Asked Questions

Anyone accessing the Youth Portal for the first time must create an account before utilizing any of its features. You must first be registered with Youth Services at the LA LGBT Center before creating a Youth Portal account. If you are interested in registering with Youth Services or are unsure if you already have, contact us at [email protected]. Once you are registered with Youth Services, you can create a Youth Portal account:

1. Go to https://youthservices.lalgbtcenter.org

2. Click “Create Account”

3. Enter the main email address you used when registering with Youth Services

4. Click “Register”

5. Check your inbox for a sign up email from [email protected]

6. Follow the link in that email to set your password

7. Enter a secure password and click “Save Password”

1. Go to https://youthservices.lalgbtcenter.org

2. In the menu, click “Login”

3. Enter your Youth Portal email address and password

4. Click “Log In”

1. Log into the Youth Services Portal

2. In the menu, hover over “Register For Event” and choose an event category

3. Click on an event

4. If self-registration is available for this event, a “Register Now” button will be at the bottom of the page

   1. If you already registered for this event, a message will be at the top of the page notifying you, and the “Register Now” button will not be displayed

   2. If the event uses a Confirmation Screen, the next page will display your registration info. On the confirmation screen, click “Review Your Registration”

5. Click “Continue”

Some events allow you to cancel your event registration online:

1. Open the confirmation email you received when you registered for the event

2. At the bottom of the email, click the link titled “Click here to transfer or cancel your registration”

3. Click “Submit Cancellation”

1. Log into the Youth Services Portal

2. In the menu, click “My Events”

3. Here you can view the upcoming events you are registered for

1. Click “Login”

2. Under the login form, click “Lost your password?”

3. Enter the email associated with your account

4. Click “Submit”

5. Find the password reset email in your inbox and click the included link

6. Enter a new secure password in both fields

7. Click “Submit”
